Mushroom Cultivation
The
oyster mushroom cultivation process was demonstrated to second-year M.Sc Biotechnology
students as part of the ‘Core Industry Module' - Mushroom Cultivation and
Apiculture paper. The final-year students actively participated in each step of
mushroom production.

Department of Biotechnology Congratulates M.P.Kaviya of II M.Sc., Biotechnology, whose project was selected by Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology under the Student Project Scheme (2023-2024). The student was sanctioned Rs.7500 as grant-in-aid, under the guidance of Dr.B.Ramesh

Industrial visit to Pasteur Institute of India 16/08/2024
Department of Biotechnology organized an industrial visit to the Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor, Nilgiris. Two faculties and 37 students from III B.Sc Biotechnology were visited on 16/08/2024.
