Restriction Digestion

Restriction digestion involves fragmenting DNA molecules into smaller pieces with special enzymes called restriction enzyme.   Our I M. Sc., students were performed Molecular Genetics practical on Restriction digestion of Lambda DNA with EcoRI and HindIII enzymes. This image shows that various bands seen under UV Transilluminator after Agarose gel electrophoresis.
