The Watson and Crick forum, PG and Research Department of Biotechnology, Sri Sankara Arts and Science College, organised a student forum meet on 13/09/2025 from 1:00 to 1:30 PM.
V. Dhinesh
Kumar from 1st M.Sc. Biotechnology gave a
presentation on “Enzyme-linked sorbent assay [ELISA]”. Department staff,
Research Scholars and Students participated in the meeting.

The forum meeting
was over by 1:30 PM, with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Swarnkumar, coordinator of the Watson and Crick forum.
Description: ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) is a plate-based laboratory technique used to detect and quantify biomolecules such as proteins, antigens, or antibodies in biological samples by using highly specific antibody-antigen interactions combined with an enzyme-mediated colour change for signal detection.
